Dear Parents and Carers,
P&C events are organised primarily to ensure we retain our fabulous school community spirit. Whereas, the voluntary contributions in your Term Fees raise much needed funds for the things our school prides itself on (e.g. fabulous resources, additional teachers’ aides, great facilities).
The 2017 Calendar of Events will be familiar to most as it is similar to previous years.
This is a call-out for volunteers …. more people are needed to run individual events or to step-up and assist with the events.
Events are not sustainable without volunteers or if the onus continually falls to a small handful of people.
Plain and simple … if we do not get core volunteers, the events just won’t happen.
For events this year, we have assigned a year group. This means that the year group assigned to the event will be asked to fill a roster of volunteers for that event. Eg. 3T on BBQ duties for Family Fun Night.
Of course, your willingness to assist with any event, even if you do not have a child in that year, will be greatly appreciated.
When we ask for volunteers to help at an Event we are generally only needing up to 1 hour of your time on the day! It’s that easy!!

Please remember – each time you are visiting the school as a volunteer, you should come to the office to sign the visitors’ book, and collect and wear a visitors’ badge.
